BATESVILLE – April 15, 2013 – James Keasler, an Environmental Services employee at the Early Learning & Enrichment Center in Batesville, was named today as the April recipient of the “Citizens Bank Above & Beyond Award.”  Citizens Bank and the Batesville School District created the award to recognize school staff members who go “above and beyond” in their service to the district.

Personnel throughout all schools nominate recipients of the monthly Above and Beyond award, which includes a certificate from the Board of Education and a $50 gift card from Citizens Bank.

A total of 21 cards were received recommending Mr. Keasler for the award.  Almost every card mentioned his good work ethic and positive attitude.  One sample comment:

  • “He never hesitates to help anyone with anything.  If he sees something that was left undone, he quietly takes care of it himself, whether it is his responsibility or not.  That is a very commendable attribute in a person.  He is also a very pleasant person to be around and is never without a smile or a ‘hello’.”
