Citizens Bank was established in Batesville, Arkansas, in 1953 by a group of local business leaders who shared a vision of creating a bank that would be committed to serving working people. Over the years, we have expanded our services, locations and technology, but we make every effort to stay true to our roots. Citizens Bank is owned by local shareholders and governed by a local Board of Directors, most of whom live, work and invest alongside our customers. We continue to take pride in a heritage of independence that honors the vision of our founders, and we remain dedicated to the financial progress of the people we serve.
