2015 High School Golf Season Kicks Off At Citizens Bank Pioneer Invitational

BATESVILLE – July 20, 2015 – The Nettleton Raiders and Wynne Yellowjackets will return as defending team champions at the 2015 Citizens Bank Pioneer Invitational High School Golf Tournament to be held Tuesday, Aug. 4, at The Course at Eagle Mountain.  The tournament, now in its third year, will open the 2015 season for golfers from Batesville, Forrest City, Greene County Tech, Nettleton, Paragould, Southside, Valley View and Wynne. 

The tournament will be the first opportunity for Batesville Golf Coach Chad Larose and his counterparts from the other seven schools to see their teams in competition.

Play will begin with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.  Team trophies will be awarded for first and second place in Boys and Girls Divisions, plus individual trophies for medalists and runners-up.

Greene County Tech won the Boys team trophy in the inaugural Citizens Bank Pioneer Invitational in 2013 and Nettleton took home the top prize in the Girls Division.
