Citizens Bank Focuses on the Future With New Location in Monticello

About Us

MONTICELLO – July 11, 2019 – Citizens Bank continues to expand its commitment to Southeast Arkansas with a new location that will soon be under construction at Monticello, according to Chris Lampkin, Citizens Bank’s Market President for Southeast Arkansas.

Once it completes the new financial center at 236 Highway 425 North, Citizens Bank will merge the employees and operations of the bank’s two current locations in Monticello into an open and inviting facility typified by a unique, modern architectural design.

“Citizens Bank has connected with the needs of consumers and commercial entities throughout Southeast Arkansas,” Lampkin said.  “We are proud of the growth we have achieved, but even more proud of the opportunity we have been given to serve the diverse individual and business needs of so many customers in this area.”

“This new state-of-the-art structure represents a major investment in Monticello and Drew County,” said Phil Baldwin, Citizens Bank CEO.  “It also demonstrates Citizens Bank’s confidence in the economic growth of this region of the state now and into the future.”

For more than 66 years, Citizens Bank’s operations have been built on a business philosophy of focusing intently on customer service and truly operating as a community bank – a local financial institution that knows and cares about its customers, understands the local business climate, and is deeply involved in the communities it serves.

“We are grateful that our loyal customers in Monticello and the surrounding communities consider Citizens Bank as a trusted financial partner,” Lampkin said.
