Citizens Bank hosted its first annual People First Awards Banquet on Thursday, June 17, honoring seven Citizens Bank associates for their achievements and contributions in 2020. The honorees included Chelsey Dockins, retail associate of the year; Katherine Harris, retail leader of the year; Lori Ross and Darryl Sullivan, lenders of the year; and Michael Bailey, Stephanie Frost and Helen Shaw, outstanding citizens award.
“The People First Awards are meant to honor those that went above and beyond in exhibiting the mission of People First,” said CEO Adam Mitchell. “Each of these associates personify our mission of putting our associates, customers and communities first.”
Each honoree was nominated by their senior leader and was chosen by a selection committee consisting of executive management and board members. This initiative is an important part of the bank's mission to put people first and is a reflection of the priority placed on culture by its progressive leadership team.
“I am so proud of the contributions of each of these honorees who exceed customers’ expectations and those of their colleagues,” said Jeff Teague, Chairman. “As a board, we know we are in good hands with teammates like these serving Citizens Bank.”
