Citizens Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Josh Baker to the position of City President in Hot Springs.
“Josh is a very knowledgeable banking executive whose leadership will build upon Citizens Bank’s record of success in the Hot Springs market,” said Adam Mitchell, Citizens Bank President. “With Josh leading our outstanding team in Hot Springs, we are extremely well positioned to best serve the needs of our customers.”
Additionally, Mitchell announced the expansion of the duties of Vernon Scott to include management of the bank’s operations in Hot Springs and Arkadelphia. Scott is currently Market President for Citizens Bank’s Central Arkansas Market.
“These markets are critically important for the bank,” Mitchell said, “and we are encouraged that they will benefit greatly from committed, professional executives such as Vernon and Josh.”
Baker served previously as Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer for Citizens Bank in Little Rock.
His 15 years of financial industry experience includes management of multiple bank branches, helping create and execute successful operational banking strategies, building and maximizing important relationships with major business clients, and nurturing the capabilities of bank employees.
Baker earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Central Arkansas. He is a graduate of the Barrett School of Banking. His community involvement has included his service with New Life Church and the Maumelle Baseball Association.
He and his wife, Andrea, will soon be relocating to Hot Springs, along with their three sons. Reed, Graham and Jax.
