Citizens Bank promotes Jerrod Sandefur to senior vice president, commercial lending

Citizens Bank, headquartered in Batesville, has announced the promotion of Jerrod Sandefur to senior vice president, commercial lending.
“Jerrod goes above and beyond to provide the very best service to our customers and is instrumental in the work we do in our community,” said Citizens Bank Regional President Micah Beard. “He has proven to be a dynamic leader and in his new role, he will expand upon the excellent work he’s already done shaping the future of our bank.”
In this new role, Sandefur will have increased responsibilities that will allow him to better serve the bank's local community.
“This role will further increase our local decision-making and allow us to serve our customer base in a more efficient manner,” said Sandefur. “Citizens Bank is committed to putting the people first and I am honored to be a part of its ongoing mission”
Sandefur is actively involved in the community. He serves on the board of directors for Vital Link and Arisa Health. Previous positions include serving as treasurer for Main Street Batesville, as a Habitat for Humanity board member, as an advisory board member for Batesville Downtown Foundation, and as a founding member and Directional Elder for City Church Conway. He is currently a member of Leadership Arkansas Class XVII and will graduate in May.
Sandefur earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing from the University of Central Arkansas. He resides in Batesville, Ark. with his wife, Erin, and three children, Emery, Reese and Kenneth. He attends Fellowship Bible Church Batesville where he co-leads a small group.
