Citizens Bank has promoted long-time team members Stephanie Frost and Karen Savell to vice president assistant loan manager and community assistant loan lead.
Frost previously served as senior loan assistant at Citizens Bank. Responsibilities in her new role will include managing day-to-day loan assistant activities, ensuring appropriate training for all loan assistants, keeping loan assistants informed of changes to applicable regulations, policies and procedures and streamlining processes to increase efficiency in the lending department.
“I’m very excited for the opportunity to help bring our loan assistants together as a cohesive team,” Frost said. “Our team is dedicated to showing support to our local community, and one way we plan to continue doing this is by using our unique strengths to our advantage in creating great results for our customers.”
Frost graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of Arkansas in 1999. She has over 25 years of experience in banking, nine of which have been at Citizens Bank. Frost married her husband Todd in 1999, and they live in Farmington, Ark. with their three chihuahuas.
Savell previously served as senior loan assistant at Citizens Bank. Her new responsibilities will include leadership in community outreach and local projects, as well as management of her team's workflow, customer service and procedural compliance.
“I am looking forward to working closer with the loan assistants and officers across our state-wide footprint, as well as helping develop new procedures and products for North Central Arkansas,” Savell said.
Savell attended Arkansas College (Lyon College) and is a member of the Leadership Batesville class of 2021. She has worked at Citizens Bank for 14 years and has more than 24 years of experience in community banking. She resides in Mount Pleasant with her husband Bill. They have two children: Austin and Tara. Savell is very active in her community as well, serving as deacon for Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
“I am proud to announce the well-deserved promotions of Stephanie and Karen,” said Vernon Scott, chief lending officer for Citizens Bank. “Both demonstrate a commitment to the community and to the bank. I am confident they will continue to embody our People First culture in their new roles.”
